Founded in San Francisco in 2005 by entrepreneurs Rebecca Hager and Greg Lamboy, Hager Executive Search is a Retained and Engaged search firm specializing in Executive and C level talent searches in Marketing/Branding, Business Development, Sales, and Digital Media across varied business sectors. Hager conducts searches nationwide and chiefly focuses on primary markets such as the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, NY and the Greater Los Angeles area and has filled roles for client’s ranging from small startups to the Fortune 100. The Hager Executive Search team has been especially successful in providing support to Global and Domestic clients seeking to establish or grow their presence in the exceptionally competitive markets of the San Francisco and Silicon Valley areas, providing insight into effectively developing a strong employer brand to attract the regions’ highly sophisticated talent.

Rebecca Hager
Founder | Managing Partner

Rebecca brings a track record of leading profitable revenue growth for both start-ups and a multi-billion dollar enterprise to Hager Executive Search. Her primary responsibility at Hager is Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for aligning strategic sales, marketing and product management to accelerate Hager’s revenue growth. Rebecca brought Hager Executive Search to profitability within 6 months of founding, and has been integral in building Hager’s reputation as the first call partner of choice for many top companies looking for the best talent. She is also highly involved with search and sourcing strategy for each client partner.

Prior to founding Hager Executive Search, Rebecca was key in assisting another staffing entrepreneur grow his business exponentially within a 2 year time frame, acquiring $15M dollars in business and hiring 500 people, positioning the organization for sale to a large national competitor that brought significantly more revenue for the franchise. In addition to start-ups, Rebecca has also sold deals in the $30M range for a large multi-billion dollar international staffing firm.

Rebecca has a Bachelors degree in Business from the University of California at Davis.

Greg Lamboy
Founder | Partner

Greg focuses on Client Engagement and Talent Acquisition for Hager Executive Search and established the Marketing/Branding and Digital Media verticals within the company. Greg’s primary responsibility at Hager is Chief Talent Officer, able to find and engage top tier talent for Hager’s client partners and bringing with him an incredible understanding of how talent interfaces within a client organization. During his tenure with Hager Executive Search, Greg has developed a reputation as an executive recruiter who always works in the best interest of the client but with an understanding to the needs and situations of the candidate, thereby ensuring the best match for both

client and talent. The extensive research he conducts for every Executive Search ensures that Hager finds the best match for our clients’ short and long term needs.

An entrepreneur and artist by nature, Greg also founded Mercy Street Entertainment, a creative performance agency that has produced numerous concerts and events over the years, many with a focus in bringing attention to worthy non-profit organizations like Music in Schools Today and Operation Dignity.

Greg received a Bachelor’s Degree from New York University.
